Jamie McCourt is determined to bring more women through the gates, and one of her strategies involves lip gloss. Which is all well and good, if a bit incongruous -- but here's the thing: While I can't speak to the expensive seats, I can tell you that up in the top deck, women have always been well-represented. For that matter, so have kids, teens and older adults. I think most people are more interested in hanging out than following every pitch, and that's part of the beauty of a night game in the cheap seats. It's a downright pleasant way to spend an evening, and one of the reasons I love summer in L.A.

(Except for that slow concession line. We never did figure out what was up with that.)
